Flexible Hotel Bookings

Below we have everything you need to know if you have a Flexible Hotel-Only reservation with us.

 

- On the 29th October, the FCDO will change their travel advice for Cyprus and Lithuania, advising against all non-essential travel to these destinations as of 4am on the 31st October. We are calling all customers due to travel to these destinations in departure date order, with the options available.  

- On the 25th October, the FCDO will change their travel advice for the Canary Islands, the Maldives, Denmark and Mykonos, meaning you will be able to travel to those destinations without having to quarantine on arrival back in the UK

On the 15th October, the FCDO lifted their travel restrictions for Crete, joining the Greek islands of Lesvos, Tinos, Serifos, Santorini and Zakynthos, meaning that you will be able to travel to this destination too. 

- On the 15th October, the FCDO changed their travel advice for Italy advising against all non-essential travel to this country from the 18th October.

 

When can I expect to hear from you?

We are emailing all customers with flexible hotel-only bookings, 14 days prior to their check-in date with available options.

Today, we will email all those due to check-in on the 14th, 15th, & 16th November.

 

What are my options?

- Regrettably during this time, we are unable to assist customers on requests for amendments.

- You will be able to use the Manage My Booking feature on our website to either request to cancel or keep your booking by paying your final balance due.

- Your cancellation will be processed automatically. If, on the rare occasion, your booking does not allow you to cancel, please raise a Customer Support Request to cancel so that our Customer Service team can process this manually with the hotel supplier.

- Please note, you can make the final balance payment though Manage My Booking on our website, at any time up to 7 days prior to your check-in date.

- If the final balance is not paid by this time, we will cancel and refund your booking. 

 

What happens if my hotel closes and I have already paid my final balance?

If there has been a change to your hotel booking that we have been informed of, a member of our service team will call you to assist with the options available to you.

Due to the nature of the circumstances, hoteliers are changing their plans on closures with very short notice, sometimes with only up to 48 hours prior to your departure.

This does mean that you may experience last minute changes which are unfortunately out of our hands. We will however call you as soon as possible to manage this.

We are also in the process of calling all customers seeking an amendment for bookings due to check-in up to and including 5th November and will continue to contact all customers in date order.
