HOW CAN WE HELP YOU?

Protecting Personal Data

Updated 4th November  2020

On the 22nd October, we added an extra layer of security for when you need to view or manage your booking on our website. This now requires you to create an account. Click here to learn how to create an account to manage your booking.

At Travel Republic, protecting any personal data you share with us is a priority and as such, we want to provide you with some tips and guidelines on how to make sure you keep your personal information safe.

Don’t Overshare On Social Sites

Do make sure that you are following or fans of the official Travel Republic social media pages. These are listed below should you want to double check. Unsubscribe or exit from any other channels with similar names or branding, as they would be fake.

Never share your booking reference with anyone publicly and never share with people you don’t know. Posting your booking reference publicly allows anyone to look-up your basic booking information.

Be Alert To Impersonators

On the telephone the Travel Republic Customer Service teams will always ask security questions before sharing or requesting any financial information from you.

Contact on email will always come from a bona fide @travelrepublic.co.uk or @email.travelrepublic.co.uk domain. Be alert, as scammers phishing for your details can mask the real email address they use. To verify the real address an email is sent from, simply click on the sender email address to view the actual address it has been sent from.

When we require updated bank account details from you, we will always send you a Customer Service Request to inform you of this, prior to contacting you by phone or email. Your bank details will not be requested through a Customer Support Request. We will not contact you directly on social media for this purpose and neither would we ever ask for you to share these details in a Customer Service Request.

Protect yourself, add the official Travel Republic email addresses to your safe list so you can be certain when receiving emails from us.

What should I do if I think my personal information has been compromised?
✓ Your bank will be able to support you in reviewing recent activity on your account and what your options are should there have been any unusual activity taken place.
