What is my easyJet baggage allowance?

Customers may take one cabin bag on board their easyJet flight. There's no weight limit, but you must be able to lift it into the overhead locker.

You may bring an additional bag to slip under your seat if you're an easyJet Plus cardholder or FLEXI fare, Up Front or Extra Legroom customer, or if you're travelling with an infant (under 2 years) on your lap.

Cabin space is limited and there may not be room for everyone's cabin bag on board. If the overhead lockers are full, easyJet staff may need to place your bag in the aircraft hold.

If your cabin bag is bigger than the maximum 56x45x25cm (including handles and wheels), then you will need to check it into the aircraft hold for a charge.

Cabin bag allowance

What is this? A bag you store in the overhead lockers (or, if it’s small enough, under the seat in front of you).

Maximum size: 56cm x 45cm x 25cm, including handles and wheels.

Hold luggage allowance (extra charge)

Maximum size: (length + width + height) under 275cm.

Each customer including children and infants can buy up to 3 hold bags. A standard hold bag is 23kg. You can buy extra weight in 3kg units, up to a maximum of 32kg per bag.

Infants booked to travel on an adult’s lap cannot add hold luggage.

If you’re travelling with family or friends on the same flight and booking, you can pool your total weight allowance.

No single item can weigh more than 32kg.

Adding a suitcase

Please use your EUF/xxxxxxxx reference to log into Manage Your Booking on our website. With most easyJet bookings, you can add suitcases directly through this platform. If for some reason you're unable to do this, you can raise a Customer Support Request (CSR).

We will action your request within the next 2 business days. Please note priority is given to urgent requests relating to bookings close to departure.
